I'm Ankush Shetty, a passionate and dedicated individual with a strong educational background in Computer Science. I graduated from the esteemed University of Southern California with Master of Science degree in Computer Science, following my Bachelor of Engineering in Computer Engineering from Vivekanand Education Society's Institute of Technology.

I am not only a skilled developer but also a enthusiastic learner, always eager to explore new technologies and stay up-to-date with the latest advancements in the field. I thrive under pressure and am adept at managing challenging tasks with precision and efficiency.

    • Produced a new responsive visualization feature, enhancing feature identification in the biobank parser, an interfacing tool for the 40GB UK Biobank dataset, with a 35% efficiency boost. Improved data retrieval speed and efficiency using SQLite.

    • Developing a python package; a processing and analyzing pipeline that wraps 4 tools in different languages. Handles varied input formats for underlying analyses to identify genetic and neurobiological mechanisms. Tables and visualization plots are generated. Supports execution on High-Performance Computing clusters with flags; currently automated for SGE and Slurm.

    • Performed Quality control and imputation on genomic data of 1TB; Employed Multidimensional Scaling to reduce the dimensions for mapping population spread across reference data. Plotly was used for interactive visualization.

    • Automated data upload to Lab wiki sourced from diverse raw data using Python; boosting process performance by 40%.

    • Led design, development, and deployment of React Web app with backend API, retrieving data for 30 cohorts on Google Cloud. Utilized Figma for UI/UX design, React for implementation, and Python for the backend REST API with SPARQL for knowledge graph querying.
